Langesund is Grenland’s "white-painted town" by the sea. Here is the beautiful wooden houses along the small streets and many well-kept house.

The oldest settlement is located along the streets closest to the sea, Vaterlandsgata and Strandgata.

In Strandgata you can see an old building and the street environment that is characteristic of the coastal cities.

On both sides of Krogshavn, we sees the oldest settlements in Langesund, with old patrician houses from the 16 - and 1700's.

Town Hall is in baroque style from 1771, Wrightegaarden in classicism erected in the 1700s and Cudrio Coast Museum of timber from the fetal half of the 1700s.

Langesundstangen, Furustranda, Steinvika, Langesund and Krogshavn are located very near the center of Langesund and it is well worth a visit.
